Thank you for your interest in tutoring with ELTOC. We are now accepting and onboarding new applicants for our Summer term: July and August.
Apply to become a volunteer tutor:
- I am fluent in English
- I am 18 years of age or older
- I am available to tutor 2 to 3 hours per week
- I can commit to 10 months or longer
- I am Interested in helping newcomers improve their English skills
- I am open to working with people from different religious and cultural backgrounds
Application Process
- Orientation:
Participate in Orientation Sessions where you will be provided with an introduction to the techniques of teaching English as a Second Language (ESL), as well as tips for working with adult newcomers.
